Nine ladies spent Tuesday evening painting abstract Santas with Bridgette at Arte Vino.

Monopoly Deal

Some ladies will meet in the card room Tuesday evening at 7:00 to play the card game Monopoly Deal. If you would like to play, meet in the card room.

Care Package for Troops Overseas

Suggestions for items to send to overseas troops include:
board games, cards, model kits, movies, music,
socks, foot powder, high quality body wash, Icy Hot, Vicks Vapo-rub, lip balm, baby wipes,
lens cleaning cloths, small bottles of glass cleaner, sunscreen.
sunflower seeds, beef jerky, lemon, orange, strawberry flavored packets to add to bottled water, Taco Bell sauce packets, even barbecue sauce.

Bring items to the Care Package Party, Tuesday @ 2.

Tin Fish is serving lunch today from 11 to 2PM and dinner tonight from 5-8pm and lunch and dinner again Saturday and breakfast Sunday from 7am -10.. RSVP is preferred by signing up in the activities room or call Michelle.

Anyone with craft ideas that would be good for our craft classes, please see Michelle at your first convenience, in the Activities/Card Room.

A New Season Begins

The staff at Silver Palms RV Resort is ready to begin a new season. The daily activities and monthly calendar are updated and ready for your use. Check this site for news and updates.

New!

Daily curbside trash pickup! Monday - Saturday trash put out at the curb will be picked up between the hours of 7:00 - 10:00 a.m.

Doggy Birthday Parties will be held on the last Sunday of each month at 2:00 p.m. Birthday dogs will get a special treat and party at the dog park.

November 3rd updates

Line dance practice today @ 2:00 in the clubhouse.

Happy Halloween!

Have you noticed the difference on the Silver Palms RV Resort sign out front? It's a little bit different, perhaps  easier to see as you arrive!

Michelle has everything decorated so well at the clubhouse just in time for the Jack-O-Lantern carving contest, the Halloween Costume contest and the "Spook"tacular dinner being prepared by The Tin Fish Restaurant.

The new sign is installed and ready for action!

A New Sign

Despite the beautiful, original Silver Palms sign, I've seen some folks make a U-turn after missing the turn simply because it was seen too late, just as we did the first time we visited. Today a new sign is being set in place  just ahead of the old original one that should give first time visitors a better indication of the turn. I took a few pictures this morning when it was being set and I'll go back a bit later to get some pictures of the finished sign welcoming everyone to Silver Palms RV Resort.

Scavenger Hunt Canceled

Today's activity, the Okechobee Scavenger Hunt is canceled due to the storm predicted to hit at about the same time.

Sunday Worship

No morning worship service Sunday due to the craft / tag sale in the clubhouse.

Potluck & Name That Tune

Join us Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in the clubhouse for the breakfast for dinner potluck and  stay for Name That Tune at 7:00.

2nd Annual Silver Palms Car Show

Don't miss the car show! March 2, 2014 from noon to 3:00 p.m. Open to the public. Proceeds to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
