The new sign is installed and ready for action!

A New Sign

Despite the beautiful, original Silver Palms sign, I've seen some folks make a U-turn after missing the turn simply because it was seen too late, just as we did the first time we visited. Today a new sign is being set in place  just ahead of the old original one that should give first time visitors a better indication of the turn. I took a few pictures this morning when it was being set and I'll go back a bit later to get some pictures of the finished sign welcoming everyone to Silver Palms RV Resort.

Scavenger Hunt Canceled

Today's activity, the Okechobee Scavenger Hunt is canceled due to the storm predicted to hit at about the same time.
